Fair Haven is a private, non-profit, residential care facility, founded in 1964 by the National and High Church of Christ (now the Watermill Church of Christ).
The campus sits on 60+ acres located approximately eight miles east of Springfield, Missouri, near the city of Strafford.
There are five group homes where residents live with families. Also on the campus is the office building, gym/multipurpose building, relief houseparent homes, administrator home and the workshop/barn.
Fair Haven provides a “home” atmosphere for children. Each house is setup as a famly unit with houseparents who are with the children 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
